The Mercy Foundation is a Public Benevolent Institution with charitable status. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible.
The Mercy Foundation commits to funding projects (through its grants to end homelessness and its partnership activities) that end or contribute to ending people’s homelessness. These activities must make a measurable difference. Such projects might be about creating new low cost housing or providing ongoing support services that help homeless people get and keep housing. No matter what the project, there will need to be an understandable and measurable link to ending homelessness.
The Mercy Foundation will also support research projects that will help us better understand the systems, structures and problems that cause and contribute to chronic homelessness. This will help us understand the actions that can be put in place to prevent and to solve homelessness.
You can donate online or you can contact us at the Mercy Foundation to find out more about the type of homelessness projects you would like to contribute to.
We can also provide more information if you would like to set up a workplace giving program or would like to make regular contributions to the Foundation.
Both corporate and individual donors have the option to become Platinum ($100,000 +), Gold ($25,000 - $99,000) or Silver ($1000 - $24,000) sponsors and be named (with company logo) on our sponsorship page. Naturally, all donors also have the right to remain anonymous if you’d prefer.
