Connecting and collaborating: What are we doing to assist asylum seekers in Sydney?

Thursday 28 August 2014. The forum will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm. A light lunch will be provided by the Mercy Foundation.

Mercy Foundation, Poche Centre Auditorium Level 1, 40 Rocklands Road, Wollstonecraft, NSW 2065 (directly opposite the Mater Hospital).

  • Fr Aloysious Mowe SJ – Director, Jesuit Refugee Service Australia
  • Ms Melanie Noden – CEO, Asylum Seeker Centre, Sydney

This forum brings together people who are working to assist asylum seekers in our community to highlight innovations and programs that are working.

We’ll also be discussing how philanthropy and organisations providing direct assistance can collaborate on this important social justice issue.

The Mercy Foundation will also be publicly awarding its 2014 Social Justice Award to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne.
