Vote Home Campaign: Let’s end the housing crisis by 2025

23 May 2016

Homelessness should not exist in Australia. We need a housing strategy and plan that will ensure housing is a right for all and one that, as a nation, we take very seriously.

House prices and rents are increasing faster than incomes. There are in excess of 200,000 people on waiting lists for public and affordable housing.

Vote Home is a campaign developed by a national alliance of peak housing, homelessness and welfare organisations to make our politicians sit up and take notice of these important issues for all Australians.

A Vote Home is a vote for a national strategy to address housing affordability and a vote for all political parties to commit to end the housing crisis by 2025 if elected.
